Meteorology issues warning: Watch out for the afternoon! Thunderstorms expected in many provinces

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country overall is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected in the Taurus Mountains region, Central Anatolia (except Eskişehir), the interior parts of the Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Edirne, Kırklareli, the northern parts of Tekirdağ, and the surroundings of Malatya, Muş, and Van.

Temperatures are expected to rise by 4 to 6 degrees in the interior parts of the Black Sea, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is generally expected to blow from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

MARMARA

It is estimated that the weather will be partly to, at times, very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the afternoon in the surroundings of Edirne and Kırklareli, and the northern parts of Tekirdağ.
