According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in Thrace, the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the north of Istanbul, the inner parts of Antalya, the east of Balıkesir, the south of Bursa, the surroundings of Sakarya, the surroundings of Malatya, and the eastern districts of Van.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the north of Adana and Mersin, the surroundings of Osmaniye, the north and west of Kahramanmaraş, the northern districts of Hatay, the south of Sivas, the north and west of Malatya, the south and east of Kayseri and Niğde, the surroundings of Aksaray and Nevşehir, the surroundings of Ardahan and Kars, the inner parts of Artvin, and the eastern districts of Erzurum. The wind is expected to blow strongly from the south and southwest in the eastern regions, occasionally reaching storm force (50-70 km/h).

Air temperatures are expected to decrease in the inner and western parts of the country and hover around seasonal norms, while they are expected to continue to remain above seasonal norms in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.

A yellow alert was issued for 11 provinces in the MGM report.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly and slightly cloudy, with some areas in the northeast becoming very cloudy, and local showers and thunderstorms are expected in Thrace, the northern districts of Istanbul, the east of Balıkesir, the south of Bursa, and the surroundings of Sakarya after midday.
