According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the northern parts of the country, and over time the southern and inner parts, will be partly to occasionally very cloudy, and that local showers and thunderstorms will occur in the inner Aegean, the Mediterranean, the coasts of the Western and Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the southern surroundings of Konya, Karaman, Düzce, Karabük, Kastamonu, and Eskişehir. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Bartın and Artvin during the morning hours.
