According to the latest assessments made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, it is estimated that the northern, inner, and western parts of the country will be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara (except Çanakkale), Aegean (except Izmir and Aydın), Western Mediterranean, the north and west of Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as the surroundings of Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, the west of Kahramanmaraş, the coasts of Hatay, and Yozgat, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.
Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the Western Black Sea (except Sinop), the eastern part of Marmara, and the surroundings of Çorum and Amasya. The wind is expected to blow strongly (30-50 km/h) from the north and northwest in the inner parts of the Central Black Sea and the east of Central Anatolia.
MARMARA
It is estimated that the region will be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected throughout the region (except Çanakkale). Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern parts.
