According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the coastal areas of the Western and Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Karabük, Kastamonu, Tokat, Sivas, and Van.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, as well as in the surroundings of Artvin and Ardahan.

A yellow alert has been issued for Artvin, Giresun, Ordu, Rize, and Trabzon.
