Yellow alert for 6 provinces from Meteorology: Thunderstorms are coming, temperatures to drop by 5 degrees

According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM), the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected across all regions, excluding the Aegean coast, Edirne, Kırklareli, and Çanakkale.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the coastal sections of the Western Black Sea, the Central Black Sea, the southern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Giresun, Trabzon, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, and Muş, as well as the southern parts of Ankara and Kırıkkale, and the western parts of Erzurum.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

As precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the coastal sections of the Western Black Sea, the Central Black Sea, the southern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Giresun, Trabzon, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, and Muş, as well as the southern parts of Ankara and Kırıkkale, and the western parts of Erzurum, caution and vigilance are advised against potential negative impacts.
