Rain warning from Meteorology for many cities including Istanbul: Here is the July 23 weather forecast by province

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the north of Marmara, the Lakes region, the highlands of the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the Taurus Mountains area, and the surroundings of Çanakkale, Afyonkarahisar, western Konya, Bolu, Karabük, and Kastamonu, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Edirne and Tekirdağ during the noon hours. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the north and northeast in the southwest of Marmara and the North Aegean coasts.

MARMARA

It is expected to be slightly cloudy, becoming partly cloudy over time, with local showers and thunderstorms in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Kırklareli, Edirne, Tekirdağ, and Çanakkale. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Edirne and Tekirdağ during the noon hours. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the north and northeast in the southwest of Marmara.
