According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in the east of the Marmara region, the Western Black Sea, the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, as well as the surroundings of Tokat, Artvin, Balıkesir, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, and the east of Hakkari. Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain on the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea and in the surroundings of Istanbul, and as sleet and snow in other areas receiving precipitation. The wind is expected to blow from northerly directions as strong and short-term storms (40-70 km/h) in the Marmara and Coastal Aegean regions. During the night and morning hours, icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern parts, along with mist and localized fog. There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures and that they will continue to remain below seasonal norms across the country.

MARMARA

It is expected to be very cloudy, with precipitation in the eastern parts of the region, the surroundings of Balıkesir, and the east of Çanakkale, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ. Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain, and sleet and snow in higher elevations. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-70 km/h) from northerly directions. Localized icing and frost are expected across the region.
