According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Eastern Mediterranean, Antalya, Eskişehir, Kayseri, Sivas, Niğde, Zonguldak, Bartın, Bolu, Düzce, Gaziantep, and Kilis regions. The rainfall is expected to be locally strong in the western parts of Marmara, the surroundings of İzmir and Manisa, and the coastal parts of Aydın.

Air temperatures, which have been above seasonal norms, are expected to decrease starting from the northwestern parts with the arrival of rainy weather; they are expected to drop to around seasonal norms in the northern, inner, and western regions.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the south, and from the north in the Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia, at light to occasionally moderate strength.

According to the report published by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), heavy downpours are expected in the megacity.

In the report, which states that the rainfall will continue until Friday, temperatures are expected to be within seasonal norms.
