Summer is not over in Marmaris! Beaches are overflowing

Following the start of the school year, while beaches in many tourism regions have been left to foreign tourists, the beaches in Marmaris, Muğla, where the air temperature is hovering around 30 degrees and the sea water temperature is around 28 degrees, were flooded with local and foreign tourists over the weekend.

While some citizens were sunbathing and enjoying the sea, others enjoyed gliding over the blue waters of Marmaris with parasailing.

Stating that they came to Marmaris from İzmir as a family to spend the weekend, local tourist Vedat Küçükgökçe said that the pleasure of Marmaris is indescribably beautiful, but that they are waiting for the blackened mountains to turn green again as soon as possible following the recent fires.

'IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL WITH ITS SEA AND SAND'

Stating that the sea water temperature in İçmeler is not inferior to the summer months and that they are enjoying the 28-degree sea water in Marmaris despite the cold weather affecting the country, he said, "Even though it is October 7th today, we are still in the sea, we are still sunbathing and trying to get a tan. Marmaris is generally very enjoyable with its sea and sand."
