Sunny days are over: Thunderstorm warning from Meteorology

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has released its latest assessments, forecasting that the western parts of the country will be partly to mostly cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the northern and western parts of the Marmara region, the northern parts of İzmir, and the surroundings of Düzce, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.

AIR TEMPERATURE

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 1-3 degrees in the western regions, while remaining above seasonal norms in other areas.

WIND

The wind is expected to blow generally from the south and southeast, and from the north and northwest in the eastern parts, at light to moderate strength.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

According to the latest assessments, as the thunderstorms expected in the vicinity of Kırklareli are forecast to be locally heavy, it is necessary to be cautious and take precautions against potential negative impacts.
