According to forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and inland parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected across the eastern Marmara, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Black Sea (except Bayburt) regions, as well as in the vicinities of Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Afyonkarahisar, and Ardahan, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the northeastern parts of Central Anatolia (Ankara, Çankırı, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Yozgat, Sivas) and the vicinities of Aksaray, as well as in the southern parts of Niğde and Kayseri, the northern vicinities of Adana, and the west of Kahramanmaraş.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in inland areas, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from southerly directions in the southern parts, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

YELLOW ALERT FOR 7 CITIES

In the MGM report, a yellow alert was issued for Ankara, Sivas, Yozgat, Kırşehir, Kırıkkale, Çankırı, and Aksaray.
