According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Sivas, Ordu, and Tokat. 

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in Hatay, Osmaniye, Malatya, Elazığ, Tunceli, Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Ağrı, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Batman, Siirt, Şırnak, Hakkari, and the southern parts of Van.
