According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and inner parts of the country are expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with local showers and occasional thunderstorms expected in the inner parts of the Western and Central Mediterranean, the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the west of Eastern Anatolia, the west of Adıyaman and Gaziantep, and the surroundings of Kars and Ardahan; other areas are expected to be partly to mostly clear.

The report states that temperatures will remain above seasonal norms across the country, and warns of an avalanche danger on sloping terrain with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
