According to the forecasts made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM): The country overall is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Hatay regions, Central Anatolia, the Black Sea (except Giresun and Gümüşhane), and the eastern parts of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. The precipitation, which is expected to be in the form of rain and showers in coastal areas and Southeastern Anatolia, and sleet and snow in inland and high-altitude areas, is estimated to be heavy in the surroundings of Bolu, Bartın, and Karabük, and the coasts of Kastamonu. Icing and frost are expected in inland and eastern parts during the morning and night hours. There is a risk of avalanches in the high parts of the inner sections of the Eastern Black Sea and in the high and sloping areas of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures, which are currently below seasonal norms, are expected to rise, starting from our western regions.

FROST WARNING

Due to the cold and rainy weather, a frost warning has been issued for Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Black Sea, and the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia.
