According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, and eastern Western Mediterranean regions, as well as the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions. The precipitation, which is expected to be generally in the form of sleet and snow, and rain and showers in the coastal parts of the Mediterranean, is expected to be heavy in the eastern parts of the Central Black Sea, the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea, the southern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Bartın, Zonguldak, and Düzce, and the northern coasts of Kocaeli and Sakarya. Icing and frost are expected in the northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country. There is a risk of avalanches in the high, sloping areas with deep snow cover in the highlands of the Eastern Black Sea and the eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to continue to remain below seasonal norms.

Winds are expected to blow from northerly directions in the western parts and from southerly directions in the eastern parts, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) from the northwest in Northern Marmara, the Aegean, the Western and Central Black Sea coasts, the south of Central Anatolia, and the Mediterranean region; and from southerly directions in the east of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.
