Father-in-law shoots son-in-law with pistol in Sivas

According to information obtained, the incident occurred at around 23.00 on Tekke Street in Kılavuz Neighborhood. 

Allegedly, an argument broke out between the father-in-law, C.Ş., and his son-in-law, S.Ö., for a reason that is not yet known. 

In the incident, which quickly escalated into a fight, the father-in-law, C.Ş., opened fire with a pistol at his son-in-law, S.Ö. 

S.Ö., who was injured by a bullet that struck his body, drove away from the scene in his car, took refuge in a workplace on Hacı Fevzi Baysoy Street and asked people nearby for help. 

After citizens who noticed the situation reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. 

After first aid was administered at the scene by medical teams, the injured S.Ö. was taken by ambulance to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Hospital and placed under treatment. 

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
