300 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Lebanon

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense, 300 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to Lebanon, where Israel continues its attacks, via the Naval Forces Command's amphibious ships TCG Sancaktar and TCG Bayraktar.
300 tons of humanitarian aid, consisting of food, blankets, and tents collected under the coordination of AFAD, were loaded onto the amphibious ships TCG Sancaktar and TCG Bayraktar at the Coast Guard Mediterranean Regional Command in Mersin.
Rear Admiral Nihat Baran, Commander of the Lebanon Evacuation Task Group, addressed the ship's crew before departure and wished them a successful mission.
TCG Sancaktar and TCG Bayraktar, which set sail from the port, have arrived at the Port of Beirut accompanied by 2 frigates and 2 patrol ships.
Humanitarian aid supplies on domestic amphibious ships will be unloaded at the Port of Beirut, where they will dock following the completion of procedures.
TCG SANCAKTAR AND TCG BAYRAKTAR TO BRING CIVILIANS
Following the unloading of humanitarian aid at the port, the evacuation of civilians, most of whom are Turkish citizens, will begin.
Civilians, including citizens of various countries who have made requests to Turkish authorities, will be boarded onto the TCG Sancaktar and TCG Bayraktar after passing through a security checkpoint that includes bomb disposal and narcotics-trained dogs.
Civilians boarded onto two amphibious ships will be brought to Mersin, escorted by two frigates and two patrol ships.
