4-month inflation difference is clear! Civil servant and retiree raises are taking shape

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced April inflation as 3 percent. Thus, inflation for the last 12-month period was finalized at 48.73 percent.

With the announcement of the April inflation figures, the 4-month portion of the raise that millions of retirees and civil servants will receive in July has also emerged.

SSK AND BAĞ-KUR RETIREES WILL RECEIVE AT LEAST A 13.36 PERCENT RAISE

The increase rate for the pensions of retirees, which was finalized at 10.06 percent based on January, February, and March inflation data, has risen to 13.36 percent.

If the government does not implement any additional increase in July, the raise rate for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will be determined by the finalized 6-month inflation figure.

The increase in civil servant pensions and civil servant salaries will be calculated by taking into account collective bargaining agreement and inflation difference rates.
