43 percent of society wants social media banned... Which party's voters are most in favor of a 'ban'
According to the survey shared by Metropoll Research, 42.6 percent of the public supports banning social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. In the survey, 62.7 percent of AKP voters say "yes" to bans, while 71 percent of CHP voters say "no."
Metropoll Research director Özer Sencar has shared the results of a survey regarding how the public views social media bans.
According to the data shared by Sencar, when asked, "Do you find the banning of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to be correct?", 42.6 percent of participants answered "yes," while 53 percent answered "no."
The distribution of participants in the survey, which Sencar shared on his X (Twitter) account with the message, "It is of great benefit, especially for politicians, to know our people. Nearly half of the society approves of social media bans," is as follows according to political preferences:
