Remarkable 'Acun Ilıcalı' commentary from Ahmet Hakan: 'If he had been an Aziz supporter...'

Hürriyet Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan commented on Acun Ilıcalı, who has been at the center of recent discussions following Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım’s claim that “he is issuing passports to ‘FETÖ’ members in the Dominican Republic,” stating: “The man has such a magnetic charm that it seems he will emerge from this situation as the most profitable party.”

Acun Ilıcalı, who is on the board of directors list of Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç, stated the following regarding Aziz Yıldırım: "The Jose Mourinho situation is a complete lie. They couldn't meet for three days, they couldn't establish contact! After Mourinho met with us, he changed his phone number, and they couldn't reach him. There is no agreement or anything like that. They met in London, and Mourinho looked at Ali Koç and the projects... The man accepted."

Aziz Yıldırım had made FETÖ-related allegations regarding Ilıcalı. Following these claims, Ilıcalı filed a criminal complaint against Yıldırım for 10 million liras.

As the tension between the two continues, Ahmet Hakan wrote the following about Ilıcalı in his column today:

“He knows so well how to win over a crowd... If he were a candidate himself, he would definitely win. His self-confidence is through the roof right now...”

Even though they are off-key, they are singing the anthem and making others sing it.

He has memorized the dynamics of the situation so thoroughly... If he were a supporter of Aziz, Aziz Yıldırım would be the favorite for the presidency.
