Apple unveils the long-awaited iPhone 16: iPhone 16 Turkey prices announced

Apple announced the iPhone 16, which it says was "built from the ground up" for Apple Intelligence. The iPhone 16 includes a new camera control button on the side of the device to make taking photos and videos easier. Apple calls this 'Camera Control.' The Action button, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro, is also present on the iPhone 16, replacing the mute switch.

THE TOUGHEST GLASS

Apple stated that the iPhone 16 features Apple's toughest glass, which protects the screen against scratches. The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch screen size, while the iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen. The new camera control button is touch-sensitive. You can press the camera control to take a photo or slide your finger along the camera control to adjust the zoom level.

Apple is also introducing new visual artificial intelligence features that can be accessed quickly via the camera control.

50 PERCENT STRONGER CERAMIC SHIELD

In addition to a new dedicated camera button on the side, the iPhone 16 features a ceramic shield that is 50 percent stronger, providing protection against scratches and drops. Apple announced its new A18 chip today, which includes a six-core CPU, a five-core GPU, and a sixteen-core Neural Engine for faster artificial intelligence performance.

Apple also stated that the A18 features a new memory subsystem to handle data traffic as quickly as possible.

Apple states that the A18 chip provides up to a 30 percent increase in single-core CPU performance compared to the iPhone 15 with the A16 Bionic chip.

LONGER BATTERY LIFE

Apple also promised longer battery life for users thanks to the chip's efficiency gains and a larger internal battery. However, no specific figures were disclosed during the presentation to support this claim.

IPHONE 16 TURKEY PRICES ANNOUNCED

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 will begin on September 13. According to information on the Apple Turkey website, the starting price for the iPhone 16 is 64 thousand 999 TL, the starting price for the iPhone 16 Plus is 73 thousand 999 TL, the starting price for the iPhone 16 Pro is 82 thousand 999 TL, and the starting price for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 99 thousand 999 TL. While the prices of the devices vary according to their storage capacities, the product box will include a USB-C charging cable in addition to the phone.

HERE ARE THE FEATURES OF THE APPLE WATCH SERIES 10

According to the information provided at the event, the Apple Watch Series 10 will feature a thinner design and a larger display compared to previous models.

Additionally, the new model, which can be charged up to 80 percent in 30 minutes, will have an 18-hour battery life and will be water-resistant up to 50 meters.

The Apple Watch Series 10 will suppress background noise to improve phone calls and will be able to alert users about sleep apnea.

The starting price for the product, which was announced to go on sale in Turkey on September 27, has been set at 18,299 TL.

AIRPODS 4 UNVEILED

The new wireless headphone series AirPods 4, introduced by Apple, will feature personalized spatial audio and capabilities that can help reduce ambient noise.

The AirPods 4 charging case will have a smaller design compared to previous models and will be compatible with USB-C.

Meanwhile, the previously released AirPods Pro 2 will gain three new hearing-related health features.

For the products, which became available for pre-order on September 20, the price of the AirPods 4 is 5,779 Turkish Lira, while the price of the AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation is 7,999 TL.
