Argued with his father, set the parked vehicle on fire: I didn't betray anyone
In the Bafra district of Samsun, a person who argued with his father set his father's parked vehicle on fire.
The incident occurred on Atatürk Boulevard. According to the information obtained, 27-year-old Kadir H. argued with his father, Hayrettin H., at a cafe. Following the argument, Kadir H. broke the windows of his father's parked vehicle and then set it on fire.
Upon the notification of citizens in the vicinity, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the crews. During the incident, police teams also took security measures in the area and temporarily closed the traffic.
On the other hand, it was learned that before setting the vehicle on fire, Kadir H. had shared a post on his social media account stating, "I never betrayed anyone; the penalty is very high. Everyone will pay the price for what they have done."
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
