A business owner in the Süleymaniye neighborhood of the İskenderun district, unable to withstand the extreme heat any longer, hung an interesting note on the door of their shop.

The note, which the shopkeeper hung on the window of the business, read: "I am overwhelmed by the extreme heat, I will not be working throughout the summer. See you in September." The shopkeeper's decision and the note became a center of attention and brought a smile to people's faces.

53-year-old shopkeeper Alirıza Özsöz, who said his neighbor went on vacation after leaving a note on their shop, stated, "My neighbor is right, the weather is very hot. It is truly impossible to walk on the road or stand still. Our brains are on the verge of burning due to the heat, and I find my neighbor justified. This is the first time we have encountered something like this. It is a bit funny, but the shop is truly closed. It is catching many people's attention; we won't be surprised if others do the same soon," he said.
