Asked 'What happens if the girls talk?' and was subjected to violence by the teacher: 'He made a fist and hit me on the head'
In a middle school in the Mudurnu district of Bolu, a 7th-grade student was allegedly beaten by their teacher. While the family filed a complaint, the teacher, against whom proceedings were initiated for the crime of "intentional injury," was released after giving their statement.
According to the allegations, 12-year-old B.Ş., a 7th-grade student at a middle school, was subjected to violence by social studies teacher E.B.
It is alleged that the teacher, who entered the classroom, said, 'I will kick out the boys who talk,' to which B.Ş. replied, 'What happens when girls talk, teacher?' Angered by these words, E.B. allegedly called the student to the blackboard, hit them on the head, arm, and ribs, and then threw them toward their desk.
B.Ş. went home and told their family what had happened. After obtaining a medical report for the assault, the family went to the police station and filed a complaint against teacher E.B.
The teacher, against whom proceedings were initiated for 'intentional injury,' was released after providing a statement.
12-year-old B.Ş. stated, 'Our social studies teacher E.B. said after entering the class, "I will kick out the boys who talk." I asked our teacher, "What happens when girls talk, teacher?" When I said that, he said, "Come here," and called me to the blackboard. When I went to the board, he made a fist and hit me on the head twice.'
