Bad news for Erdoğan and the AKP in the latest poll!
The results of Metropoll Research's 'Pulse of Turkey' October 2024 survey have been released. In the study, citizens were asked which candidate they would vote for in a presidential election, in addition to their preferences for parliamentary elections.
The results for October from the 'Pulse of Turkey' survey, conducted monthly by Metropoll Research, have been obtained.
According to the report in Sözcü, if an election were held this Sunday, after distributing undecided voters, the CHP's vote share would be 32.1 percent, the AKP's 31 percent, the MHP's 6.3 percent, the İYİ Party's 5.6 percent, the DEM Party's 10.6 percent, the YRP's 3.6 percent, the Zafer Party's 3.8 percent, and the TİP's 1.7 percent.
Before the distribution of undecided voters in the poll, the CHP's vote share was 22 percent; it is noted that the fluctuation within the CHP has stopped and the AKP's vote share has stabilized.
According to the study, when AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş are matched, Yavaş receives 53.8 percent of the vote, while Erdoğan receives 28.7 percent.
Those who said they would not vote for either candidate accounted for 10.3 percent, while 7.2 percent did not express an opinion.
In a matchup between Erdoğan and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, İmamoğlu receives 49 percent and Erdoğan receives 30.6 percent. While 14 percent said they would not vote for either, the rate of those who did not express an opinion was 6.4 percent.
In a matchup between Özgür Özel and Erdoğan, Özel receives 45.2 percent and Erdoğan receives 31.2 percent. The rate of those who said they would not vote for either candidate was 15 percent, while the rate of those who did not express an opinion remained at 7.9 percent.
While 37.3 percent of participants believe the CHP will win the election and 32.3 percent believe the AKP will, the rate of those who did not provide an answer was 17.7 percent.
When asked who would lead the CHP to victory in an election, 47.7 percent answered Özgür Özel, while the rate of those who answered Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu remained at 22.5 percent. 30.1 percent did not express an opinion.
