Car and minibus collide head-on

According to the information obtained, the accident occurred near Bozca village on the Avanos-Kayseri Highway, at a location where road work was being carried out. A car with license plate 31 KLY 36, driven by Yaşar A., and a transit minibus with license plate 27 APY 58, driven by Şahin Ü., collided head-on.

Due to the impact of the collision, the minibus overturned on the road before coming to a stop. A total of 5 people were injured in the accident, including both drivers and 3 people who were in the minibus.

Following reports from bystanders to the 112 Emergency Service line, police, gendarmerie, AFAD, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured, who were extracted from the vehicles, were transported to Nevşehir State Hospital after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene of the accident.

It was learned that 2 of the injured individuals transported to the hospital are in serious condition.

Due to the accident, traffic was directed through a single lane in a controlled manner for a while, and the road was reopened to traffic after the vehicles were removed. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
