Car and minibus traveling in the same direction collide on the Anatolian Motorway

In the incident that occurred on theHendeksection of the motorway in the direction of Istanbul, anAudi brand car with license plate 34 GEK 18, whosedriver's name could not be learned, collided with a minibuswith license plate 27 AKZ 677 traveling in the samedirection. 

Following the accident, the minibustipped onto its side and skidded. In the accident, Yıldız Dertli (60) lost her life at the scene, while B.H. (24), G.H. (52), and S.D. (31) were injured. 

Upon notification of the situation, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to theregion. After initial intervention at the scene,the injured were transported to the hospital, while longvehicle queues formed on the Istanbul-bound side of the motorway.queuesformed. 

The body of Dertli, who lost her life due to the accident, was transferred to the hospital morgue following the crime scene investigation.

Traffic, which remained closed for approximately two and ahalf hours following the accident,returned to its normal flow once the vehicleswereremoved from the scene.returned.
