Case for the opening of Ferdi Tayfur's will begins: Here is the revealed will

It was stated that the artist bequeathed his real estate in the Fatih district of Istanbul and the Marmaris district of Muğla to the Darüşşafaka Society, his 4 properties in the Mudurnu district of Bolu to the Turkish Armed Forces, and 8 villas in Yalova to LÖSEV.

It was noted that in his will, Tayfur left his other real estate to Ferdi Taha Tayfur, Ulaş Dınız, Derin Dınız, Zeynep Doğrul, Can Doğrul, Nefes Lila Gözalıcı, Şirin Gözalıcı, Ferdi Tayfur Turanbayburt, Buse Turanbayburt, and Emirhan Turanbayburt; and the rights to his compositions, music, and copyrighted works to Nilüfer Turanbayburt.

After the will was read, the family members were asked if they had any objections. Edanur Yıldız Ülker, the lawyer for family members Timur Turanbayburt and Tuğçe Tayfur Aydın, stated that they were contesting the will, while others said they accepted it.

The hearing was adjourned to April 29.

"WE RESPECT IT"

Speaking to reporters outside the courthouse, Ferdi Tayfur's wife, Zeliha Tayfur, stated that the family was pleased with the donations made to the foundations and said:

"Ferdi Bey used to say in our conversations that he would donate his inheritance to charitable organizations. Therefore, he donated certain things to the Turkish Armed Forces, Darüşşafaka, and LÖSEV. We are very happy about this because it was a decision we made together. We respect it, we are proud of it."

When asked, "Why did you keep your marriage legally intact?" Tayfur replied, "My husband wanted it that way."

"WE HAVE ALSO FILED A LAWSUIT TO ANNUL THE WILL"

Edanur Yıldız Ülker, the lawyer for Timur Turanbayburt and Tuğçe Tayfur Aydın, stated that a detailed explanation would be provided later, adding, "We have also filed a lawsuit for the annulment of the will.

We will also file other lawsuits. We will file separate lawsuits for the parts where the reserved portion of the inheritance was violated. Tuğçe Hanım could not come because she is pregnant. Hopefully, she will come to the next hearing," she said.
