Chaos in Beşiktaş stands, 15 fans face legal action: Fans threw seats
During the Turkish Cup match between Kocaelispor and Beşiktaş, chaos erupted in the visiting team's stands. Security forces intervened in the incidents, and legal action was taken against 15 fans.
Kocaelispor hosted Beşiktaş on their home turf in the Ziraat Turkish Cup Group C match.
In the 75th minute of the match, tension that began in the stands for an unknown reason escalated.
As fans tore out and threw seats into the lower sections, one fan was injured in the arm.
Security forces intervened in the incidents and brought the situation under control.
Following the tension, legal action was taken against approximately 15 Beşiktaş fans.
Meanwhile, the extent of the damage caused by Beşiktaş fans to the visiting section will be clearly determined after an assessment is conducted.
