Cleanup operation at the school in Kahramanmaraş where the attack took place: 9 dead

Officials have begun cleaning work at the school in Kahramanmaraş where 9 people were killed and 13 others were injured.

In the armed attack that took place at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in the Haydarbey neighborhood of the central Onikişubat district, 9 people lost their lives and 13 people were injured.

Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident, 3 deputy chief public prosecutors and 4 public prosecutors were assigned.

As part of the investigation, the attacker I.A.M.'s father, U.M., and subsequently his mother, P.P.M., were taken into custody.

The wait continues

While citizens continue to wait in front of Ayser Çalık Secondary School despite nightfall, Riot Police have taken intensive security measures in the area.
