Couple stabbed in hospital after sharing photo with baby born out of wedlock

The incident occurred at the Kırıkkale Yüksek İhtisas Hospital Maternity Ward. According to the information obtained, F.G. (31) and her boyfriend Ö.O. (30), who met on social media about a year ago, began living together after a while.

Due to this relationship, a feud began between the woman and her brothers. It was learned that the father of the baby the woman gave birth to is her boyfriend. The feud reignited after Ö.O. shared a photo taken with the newborn baby on his social media account.

Upon seeing the post, the woman's brothers P.G. (29), İ.G. (26), and E.G. (35) came to Kırıkkale from Kayseri. While E.G. waited in the vehicle, P.G. and İ.G. entered the hospital and stabbed F.G. and Ö.O. The hospital police apprehended the 2 suspects at the scene shortly after. E.G., who fled after the incident, was caught by police teams in Kırşehir. A blank-firing pistol was seized during a search of the vehicle the suspect was in.

One of the woman's brothers, İ.G., defended the attack to journalists as he left the hospital, saying, "For my honor, for my dignity, not for anything else." Judicial proceedings were initiated by the Public Prosecutor's Office against the 3 brothers, who were taken into custody by the Public Security Branch Directorate's Murder Bureau teams, on charges of "attempted intentional homicide."

On the other hand, a judicial process has also been initiated against some internet news sites that were determined to have made posts that did not reflect the truth, claiming that the mother and baby had lost their lives.

It was learned that an investigation is being conducted regarding the posts in question under the charge of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
