Deceived by AI-generated image of President Erdoğan: They saddled him with a 2.5 million lira debt

According to theallegations, the incident began when İrfan Sezgin (56) came across an investment video on social media that was produced using artificial intelligence by imitating President Erdoğan's voice andimage. Sezgin, who shared his personal information by clicking the link in the video, senta certain amount of money in the first stage. However, the frauddid not stop there.The fraud did not stop there.

Hoping to recover the money he lost, Sezgin was then called by individuals using the names of BAYKAR and Turkish Petroleum.Deceived by the promise of 'We will help you get your money back,' Sezgin was dragged into a debt trap by making paymentsin installments over time, totaling approximately2.5 million lira more.
