The luxury vehicles belonging to Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, who were arrested as part of an investigation conducted in 6 provinces centered in Istanbul, had also come to the fore.
As part of the investigation, 24 vehicles belonging to the Dilan-Engin Polat couple had been seized.
Luxury cars were displayed at the Istanbul Police Department headquarters.
The convoy, which included 16 vehicles, had also been recorded by citizens in traffic.
The makes and models of these vehicles were drawing attention with their staggering prices. It was stated that the total value of the vehicles, which include brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, and Audi, is 150 million liras.
Some of the seized vehicles included: Ferrari 296 GTB, Porsche Panamera, Mercedes G-Class, Mercedes E-Class, Mercedes Vito VIP minibus, Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf, Fiat Egea, Honda Civic, 2 Dacia Sandero, Renault Clio, and Audi A3.
After being released, Dilan Polat's trip to the prison to see her husband, Engin Polat, drew attention as she made the journey this time in an Opel-branded vehicle.
Following their release, the fate of the Polat couple's seized luxury vehicles has become a subject of curiosity.
The statement regarding the matter came from Polat's lawyer, Sevinç Horoz.
In a statement made after the evacuation, Horoz stated that their priority is the release of Polat.
Following Polat's release, questions have arisen regarding the status of the seized real estate, luxury vehicles, and companies under trusteeship. Horoz stated, "Our priority was the release process. Following the release of the other clients, we will take the necessary steps regarding the seized properties."
