Ekrem İmamoğlu scoop from Fatih Portakal with an 'Özgür Özel' reference: 'Don't be surprised if there is a leadership change'

Journalist Fatih Portakal shared a noteworthy piece of CHP insider information from Ankara. 

Portakal noted the following:

What is Ekrem İmamoğlu doing? When we look at his recent statements, he seems to have rolled up his sleeves. He made a post saying, "You will not say Mustafa Kemal Atatürk while swallowing your words, you will not say Republic while swallowing your words; you will say 'Long live the Republic, Long live Mustafa Kemal Atatürk' at the top of your lungs."

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu gave a message of change on the morning of October 29.

"I have infinite and heartfelt faith in the courage, wisdom, determination, justice, conscience, and national unity and integrity of our 86 million people. This nation knows how to rise from its ashes and will overcome these difficult days once again," he said, emphasizing his determination.

The struggle for change and transformation continues. At the time İmamoğlu gave this message, the case known in the public eye as the "fool case" was on the agenda. In the last IMM council session, following the AKP group spokesperson's statements regarding the change of judge, CHP group deputy chairman Gökhan Günaydın and CHP High Disciplinary Board Chairman Turan Taşkın Özer decided to apply to the HSK (Council of Judges and Prosecutors). 

In this application, it will be requested that the concerns formed in the public eye and new evidence be evaluated, and that an investigation and inquiry be conducted into the members of the 1st Chamber of the HSK, who make judge appointments.
