Failed to heed 'stop' order, fined 122 thousand liras

A 15-year-old rider of an unplated motorcycle, who ignored a 'stop' order from traffic police teams conducting checks on 80. Yıl Boulevard in Güzel Yurt Neighborhood, identified as İbrahim P., began to flee. Upon the report from the police teams, additional units were dispatched to the area. The driver, who also ignored the 'stop' orders from the dispatched teams, attempted to lose them by entering neighborhood streets. 

Realizing that police teams were following him, the driver began to flee again. The juvenile driver, who fled against traffic on Ürgüp Street and entered intersections from the wrong lane, also did not stop at red lights.  

Police teams took necessary precautions along the motorcycle's route to try and stop the rider. 

After fleeing from police for approximately 15 minutes, the driver realized he was about to be caught on Aksaray Street in Cevher Dudayev Neighborhood, so he left the motorcycle on the side of the road and continued to flee on foot with his 15-year-old friend who was a passenger. 

The driver and his passenger were apprehended following a pursuit by the teams, taken into custody, and handed over to the juvenile bureau.

During the investigation, it was determined that the juvenile driver did not have a license, which was the reason he fled. The 15-year-old driver was fined 122 thousand liras for various violations. The motorcycle was impounded.
