Father and son who caused terror with a knife fined 363 thousand TL

The incident occurred on Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street in the Yeşilevler neighborhood of the Seyhan district. Following an argument in traffic, truck driver Mehmet Necmi Z. cut off the car with whose driver he had been arguing.

The driver's son, Mehmetcan Z., got out of the truck and damaged the car with a knife. The moment of the incident was captured second-by-second on the car's dashcam. Teams from the Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau of the Seyhan District Police Department launched an operation to apprehend the attackers.

As a result of the efforts, the father and son were apprehended in the Gürselpaşa neighborhood of the Seyhan district. The knife that Mehmetcan Z. was holding during the altercation was also seized.

A total fine of 363 thousand TL was issued, with 183 thousand TL to truck driver Mehmet Necmi Z. and 180 thousand TL to his son, Mehmetcan Z. Driver Mehmet Necmi Z.'s license was suspended for 2 months, and his vehicle was banned from traffic for 2 months. It was learned that the police processing of the father and son is ongoing.
