Ferdi Tayfur's daughter Tuğçe Tayfur: I am learning about my father's condition from social media

Ferdi Tayfur, the unforgettable name of Arabesque music, fell ill at his home in Marmaris the other day and was taken to a hospital in Muğla.

Tayfur, whose health deteriorated due to a cold, was transferred to Antalya by air ambulance during the night at the request of his doctor at the hospital in Antalya where he had previously undergone a kidney transplant.

It was reported that Tayfur, who underwent a successful surgery yesterday, is in good health.

Ferdi Tayfur’s press consultant and nephew, Şirin Gözalıcı, stated, “The surgery was successful. His health condition is good for now, but he will continue to be kept under observation. We will provide more information in the coming hours.”

Tuğçe Tayfur, his daughter with whom he has been estranged for a long time, also made statements about her father on social media.

Tuğçe Tayfur said, “For the last 6-7 months, I have been learning about the decisions made on behalf of Mr. Ferdi and his current illness through social media via your lawyer. Ms. Necla has made many efforts to get information about the situation, but has received no response. Whatever you know right now, we know the same. May God help everyone waiting for health.”
