Flames advance toward TOKİ area in Bursa: Growing due to the wind

The fire that started in the forested area between Bursa's Kestel and Gürsu districts continues to increase in intensity.

In a statement made by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, it was stated: "Due to the forest fire and the course of the fire, an evacuation decision has been taken for our Karahıdır Neighborhood in Gürsu district. Our buses belonging to BURULAŞ have been deployed in the village to carry out the evacuation of our citizens; our Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Vakıf Bera Sports Complex has been made ready for the accommodation of our citizens affected by the fire. Our subsidiaries BURFAŞ and BESAŞ have begun the necessary preparations to meet the food and water needs of our citizens in the accommodation area."
