Forest fire in Hatay extinguished
A forest fire that broke out in the Kozaklı neighborhood of Hatay's Arsuz district has been brought under control. The cause of the fire, which began yesterday, has not yet been determined. Regional Directorate of Forestry teams, supported by teams from neighboring provinces, intervened in the flames both from the air and on the ground with a total of 153 vehicles and 523 personnel. Approximately 95 hectares of land were damaged in the fire, and 4 houses and 2 barns in the Harlısu neighborhood were partially affected. Operations in the region are ongoing. The fire was brought under control as a result of hours of work.
A fire broke out yesterday in the forested area of the Kozaklı neighborhood for reasons yet to be determined.
Upon notification, Regional Directorate of Forestry teams were dispatched to the area.
The teams intervened from the air and on the ground to bring the flames under control.

Meanwhile, Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı had announced that 4 houses in the Harlısu neighborhood were partially affected by the fire and 2 barns were damaged.
