Günyüzü District Governor involved in traffic accident: 1 dead, 2 injured
In a traffic accident involving two cars on the road to Günyüzü in Eskişehir, one person died, and Günyüzü District Governor Muhammed Raşit Kurt and his driver were injured.
The accident occurred in the Hamamkarahisar area. According to the information received, the car with license plate 26 AA 112, driven by Muhammet K. and carrying Günyüzü District Governor Muhammed Raşit Kurt (33), collided with the car driven by Mehmet Ali Tümer (62) for reasons yet unknown.
In the accident, where both vehicles were totaled, District Governor Kurt and his driver were injured, while the driver of the other vehicle lost his life at the scene.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured were taken to Eskişehir City Hospital following initial intervention by medical teams. It was learned that District Governor Kurt's health condition is good. The body of the deceased driver was taken to the morgue after the completion of the crime scene investigation.
Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
