A young man who set fire to the house he lived in in the Keşan district of Edirne called his father and told him he had burned the house down.
According to the information received, Y.Y. (23), who resided in an apartment in a building on Zati Yörüker Street in the Mustafa Kemal Paşa neighborhood, set fire to the furniture while no one else was home.
After the furniture caught fire, Y.Y. called his father, told him he had burned the house down, and asked him to come. Upon reports from those who saw the fire, police, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
During the alarming fire, an elderly woman living on the floor below was taken outside with the help of bystanders. The fire was brought under control and extinguished after 1 hour of work by the fire department. His father, who arrived at the scene, and the bystanders reacted to Y.Y.
