He got out of his vehicle and committed suicide on a bench

The incident took place in the Çakmak neighborhood of the Merkezefendi district.

According to the information obtained, C.A. (48), who was driving his car with the license plate 20 AYB 66, pulled his vehicle over to the right and sat on a bench by the side of the road, where he committed suicide with a firearm he had with him.

Citizens in the vicinity who heard the gunshot reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, health and numerous police teams were dispatched to the area.

Following the checks made by the health teams who arrived at the scene, it was determined that C.A. had lost his life at the scene.

C.A.'s relatives, who received the news and arrived at the scene, were overcome with grief.

C.A.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
