He shot a 15-year-old girl in the head at the university: He committed suicide with the same weapon

The incident occurred around 19:40 at a cafe located inside Boğaziçi University on Hisarüstü Street in Sarıyer.

According to the information obtained, Ayberk K. (20) had an argument in the morning with H.Ö. (15), a girl with whom he was allegedly in a relationship. Following the argument, H.Ö. went to the university cafe where she worked part-time.

Ayberk K., who entered the university illegally during an event, shot H.Ö. in the head with a gun and then committed suicide with the same weapon.

Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Checks conducted at the scene confirmed that Ayberk K. and H.Ö. had lost their lives.

Following the investigation, the bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue. On the other hand, it was alleged that Ayberk K. had 24 separate criminal records and that he shot H.Ö. because she wanted to break up with him.

During the investigation at the scene, one unlicensed pistol was seized, and police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
