He shot his neighbor first, then his mother and brother, and finally himself: A hail of bullets

The incident took place on 6670 Street in the Hassas neighborhood. According to the information obtained, 18-year-old Ömer Can T. opened fire with a handgun on his neighbor, 26-year-old Kuddusi A., as he was arriving home.

Subsequently, Ömer Can T. went to his home with the gun in his hand and shot and wounded his mother, 42-year-old Medine T., and his 10-year-old brother, U.T.

Then, holding the gun to his head, Ömer Can T. attempted suicide by shooting himself.

Neighborhood residents who heard the gunshots during the incident, in which 4 people were injured, immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

While police teams arriving at the scene took security measures, medical teams provided the first intervention to the injured on-site.

The injured were then taken by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Department.

It was learned that the conditions of Ömer Can T., his mother Medine T., and his brother U.T., who were taken under treatment there, are critical.

Following a detailed investigation by the Crime Scene Investigation Branch teams, an investigation was launched by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

It was learned that Ömer Can T.'s father was in the city of Adana for his daughter's medical treatment.
