Horrific accident in Sakarya: 9-year-old child thrown from car as it flips

The accident occurred last night at approximately 23:50 on the Sakarya section of the Northern Marmara Motorway.

According to the information obtained, a car driven by S.A. (21), which was traveling in the direction of Ankara, lost control and struck a car with license plate 34 COY 530, driven by L.A. (29), which was moving in the same direction.

Due to the impact, the car with license plate 34 COY 530 flipped over. Five people were injured in the accident. It was learned that two passengers who were wearing seatbelts sustained minor injuries and were discharged on the same day following medical treatment at the hospital.

CHILD THROWN FROM VEHICLE ONTO THE ROAD

A 9-year-old child named O.A., who was a passenger in the back seat and not wearing a seatbelt, fell onto the road from the flipping car.

Other drivers who were on the road at the time of the accident calmed the child, who had been thrown onto the road, and helped them overcome the initial shock of the accident.
