Israeli airstrike on Lebanon! Many injured
Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on the city of Baalbek in Lebanon; one person lost their life, and many others, including women, were injured. Hezbollah responded.
According to Lebanon's official news agency NNA, one person was killed and several others, including three women from the same family, were injured in an attack by Israeli warplanes on the town of Saide, west of Baalbek.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah is responding to the attacks with missile, drone, and artillery fire targeting civilian settlements and military zones on the Israeli side.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON GAZA AND LEBANON
In the attacks Israel has carried out on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, 41,965 Palestinians have been killed, including approximately 17,000 children and 11,378 women, and 97,590 people have been injured.
While it is reported that there are still thousands of dead under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the public has taken shelter.
The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.
According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 2,119 people have been killed since October 8, 2023, including 104 children and 194 women.
