Letter from university student found dead emerges: Everything including his ID was taken

The incident occurred on the night connecting August 6 to August 7. Teslime Hanedan (20), who had come to Aydın from Mersin for university, arrived in the area by taxi with four friends, including her boyfriend, identified as E.F., and lost her life due to a gunshot wound to the head.

Teslime's boyfriend, E.F., claimed in his statement that his girlfriend had committed suicide. E.F. was taken into custody and subsequently arrested by the court on suspicion of murder.

At the request of E.F., who is being held in Denizli Prison, a search was conducted at his home, and a letter was found among his books.

The discovered letter was submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office by E.F.'s lawyer, Orhan Apaydın.

It was learned that Teslime Hanedan had handed the handwritten letter, dated March 20, 2025, to E.F. shortly before her death.

In the letter, which began by noting that a year had passed since she moved from her hometown of Mersin to Aydın for university, it was learned that Teslime Hanedan stated she had become an addict, subsequently worked as a courier, and that the torture and harassment she endured had stripped her of her former joy.

It was learned that the letter, in which Teslime stated that everything she owned, including her ID, had been taken by people she trusted and that she was later forced to work as an escort, is expected to bring certain truths to light.
