Life-or-death struggle on bridge captured on camera: Slipped out of his jacket and fell
In Karabük, an individual attempting to jump from a bridge fell to the ground despite the intervention of citizens and police teams. While the injured individual was taken to the hospital, the moments were captured on a mobile phone camera.
The incident occurred on Menderes Street in the Bayır neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an individual identified as M.D. climbed onto the bridge and attempted to jump.
Citizens who noticed the situation and police teams tried to persuade the individual.
The individual, whose fall was being prevented by people holding onto his hands for a while, slipped out of his jacket and fell to the ground.
Those moments were captured second by second on mobile phone cameras.
The individual, who received initial medical intervention from health teams dispatched to the scene upon notification, was later taken to Karabük Training and Research Hospital. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
