Following its inspections, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has added new brands to its lists of "Foods Subject to Imitation and Adulteration" and "Foods Endangering Health."

The situation of some cheese brands included in these lists has caused astonishment among consumers.

While the number of products threatening public health continues to rise during inspections, it has drawn attention that well-known brands are also included on the list.

Previously, it had been determined that pork was mixed into meatballs, horse and deer meat into sucuk (Turkish sausage), or animal heart was added to raw Adana kebab. This time, shocking findings were encountered in some cheeses on the list.

Analyses conducted on the contents of the cheeses have raised significant questions about the reliability of the products, while the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry emphasized that inspections will continue uninterrupted to protect public health.
